System Architect - TS/SCI

Piper Companies is seeking a System Architect to support an industry leader in technology. This position will be on-site in Raleigh, NC. The System Architect will be securing scalable solutions for U.S. Government classified environments.

Responsibilities of the System Architect include:

• Designing, implementing, and securing scalable solutions for U.S. Government classified environments.
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes), automation of operating systems, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), system patching, and cloud administration (AWS), with a strong focus on compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines.
• Configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting network functions within secure environments, including Cisco Routers, Switches, and firewalls.

Qualifications for the System Architect include:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• Proven experience as a System Architect or similar role.
• Expertise in containerization technologies, including deployment, management, and security.
• IaC tools, preferred for Terraform and Terragrunt.
• AWS cloud experience, security configurations and service integrations.

Compensation for the System Architect include:

• Salary Range: $150,000-190,000
