Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer for a global financial institution located in Cary, NC. The Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer will be working in the finance and treasury section in order to keep both the product and application stable. The Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer  is a full-time opportunity and requires the candidate to sit on site up to 3 days per week in Cary, NC.  

Responsibilities of the Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer: 

• Design and build data performance dashboards utilizing Java 
• Perform Site Reliability Engineering best practices 
• Guide engineering teams, promote best practices, and mentor junior engineers in software development and data engineering. 

Requirements of the Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer: 

• 10+ years of overall engineering experience 
• 4+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience 
• Substantial experience utilizing Spring Boot framework to develop Java based applications 
• Proficient with relocation databases 
• Strong experience with data processing 

Compensation of the Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer: 

• $130,000-$185,000 + 10% Bonus
