Integrations Software Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Integrations Software Engineer for an E-Learning Healthcare Provider located in Morrisville, NC. The Integrations Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines that enable seamless integration of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) into our platform. The Integrations Software Engineer role is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity and requires you to sit on site 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities for the Integrations Software Engineer:

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Functions
• Customize integrations based on client needs
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, and Data & Gen AI teams
• Research integration technologies and recommend scalable strategies
• Document workflows and contribute to process improvement

Requirements for the Integrations Software Engineer:

• 2+ years of software development experience focused on ETL and data integration
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services (Synapse, Data Factory, Functions)
• Experience integrating HRIS and ATS platforms
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI
• Exposure to modern ESB frameworks
• Experience driving integration strategies in service-oriented architectures

Compensation for the Integrations Software Engineer:

• $90,000 - $110,000 base salary
