Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer to work for a leader in the technology industry. The Software Engineer role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in multiple programming languages, systems development, and DevOps practices. The Software Engineer role is a hybrid position requiring to work in the office at least 2 days a week.

Responsibilities of the Software Engineer include:

·      Design, develop, and maintain backend and full-stack applications.

·      Collaborate across teams to implement secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

·      Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation.

Requirements of the Software Engineer include:

·      3+ years of experience working in a SOC environment

·      Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C, Go.

·      Experience in backend development; front-end and full-stack experience is a plus.

·      Solid understanding of networking concepts.

·      Familiarity with security protocols like TLS and SSL.

·      Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).

Compensation for the Software Engineer include:

·      Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

·      Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave as required by law
