DevOps Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a growing technology organization located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The. DevOps Engineer role is hybrid requiring onsite in the office 3 days a week. A successful candidate for the DevOps Engineer will possess a strong background in automation and IAC.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer include:

·       Provides System/DevOps best practices to influence design and implementation approaches and solutions

·       Maintain and configure CI/CD plans, develop installation tools, configure and automate the deployment of new environments

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and create processes related to dev ops

·       Lead, drive, and implement highly scalable and complex solutions in secure environment

Requirements for the DevOps Engineer include:

·       Over 2 years of professional DevOps engineering experience

·       Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps)

·       Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)

·       Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

·       Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

·       Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)

·       Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting

·       Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)

Compensation of the DevOps Engineer includes:

·       $65,000 $115,000 annually with Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
