Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join a cutting-edge organization at the forefront of counter-drone technology Based in Mclean, VA. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new sales opportunities across various sectors, while building and maintaining a strong and sustainable customer base. This position will be on-site in McLean, VA five days per week!
Responsibilities of the Senior Sales Executive include:
- Oversee the full sales acquisition cycle—from initial engagement to securing purchase orders—focused on strategically aligned customers and accounts, with the goal of driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with partners and customers across the Public Safety ecosystem, including law enforcement agencies, municipalities, and private security organizations.
- Support and lead company representation at trade shows, conferences, demonstrations, and customer events as needed to advance sales initiatives and capture opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting, and deliver sales updates using CRM and related tools.
- Promote a customer-focused approach by collaborating across teams to shape and communicate sales strategies, capture plans, demos, and proposal materials.
- Collaborate across teams to manage data flows, integrate predictive models, and support centralized decision-making infrastructure.
- Maintain deep knowledge of company solutions and effectively communicate their value to customers and partners.
Qualifications for the Senior Sales Executive include:
- Demonstrated success executing sales campaigns in the Public Safety sector, with a strong track record selling commercial hardware and software solutions.
- Established network across the Public Safety sector, including local and state agencies as well as private security organizations.
- Demonstrated success in leading targeted sales initiatives, consistently achieving strong results with Security firms, Public Safety entities, law enforcement agencies, and commercial clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a strong track record of leading impactful sales engagements and client meetings.
- Highly self-motivated and adaptable, with proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and respond swiftly to changing demands.
- Capable of working in outdoor environments for product demonstrations and customer events, including transporting, setting up, and handling equipment as needed.
- Open to regular travel commitments, averaging around 50%.
Compensation for the Senior Sales Executive include:
- Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000
- Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays.
