Endpoint Engineer (MAC)

Piper Companies is seeking a MAC Endpoint Engineer to join a leading tech organization in the Durham, NC area. The MAC Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing MAC endpoints across the enterprise using JAMF and scripting tools.

Responsibilities of the MAC Endpoint Engineer include:

• Engineer and maintain MAC endpoint solutions across enterprise environments.
• Administer and optimize JAMF Pro configurations, policies, and deployment workflows.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and endpoint management (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure endpoint configurations align with regulatory standards.
• Support endpoint lifecycle management, including provisioning, patching, and decommissioning.

Qualifications for the MAC Endpoint Engineer include:

• 4+ years of experience in MAC endpoint engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with JAMF Pro, including policy creation, packaging, and deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
• Understanding of CMMC compliance is a huge plus.

Compensation for the MAC Endpoint Engineer includes:

• Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
