Senior Full Stack Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an emerging innovator in data sharing, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise collaboration. This is a contract to hire remote role, and is ideal for someone who enjoys building secure, scalable systems at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and AI, and wants to shape how enterprises govern and integrate AI agents into their data workflows.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will design and build full stack applications that securely connect enterprise data to AI agents, enabling governance features like access control, audit trails, and policy enforcement within Vendia’s cloud-native platform.

Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Engineer include:

• Develop secure and scalable web apps, SDKs, and APIs for AI governance.
• Implement features like access controls, audit trails, and policy enforcement.
• Design and maintain client-side and server-side architectures.
• Promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape product roadmap and technical strategy.

Qualifications for the Senior Full Stack Engineer include:

• 5+ years of full stack engineering experience in cloud-native environments.
• Strong AWS expertise (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and modern web frameworks.
• Experience building responsive web apps and backend APIs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup.

 Compensation for the Senior Full Stack Engineer:

• Salary Range: $120,000-$165,000/year
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
