Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Compounder to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Lynwood, California. This is a hands-on production role focused on preparing OTC products in a fast-paced, GMP-compliant environment.


Responsibilities of the Compounder include:

  • Prepare and mix raw materials according to batch instructions and GMP standards.
  • Operate manual and semi-automated equipment such as pumps, valves, and mixers.
  • Accurately weigh and measure ingredients, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
  • Perform sanitation of tanks and equipment following SOPs.
  • Use Oracle inventory system to track materials and batch progress.
  • Collaborate with team members across shifts to maintain production flow and cleanliness.

 

Qualifications for the Compounder include:

  • 5–8 years of experience in compounding, manufacturing, or production (pharma, food, or beverage industries preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Familiarity with GMP environments and good documentation practices.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-temperature, and confined spaces.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from elevated platforms (not afraid of heights).
  • Experience with water systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Compensation for the Compounder includes:

  • Hourly Rate: $23.00
  • Comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental and vision
