Sub-Investigator

Piper Companies is seeking a Sub-Investigator to join a trusted leader advancing the future of medicine for a part-time (20-30 hours/week), contract position located in Lake City, FL. The Sub-Investigator will conduct clinical trial procedures, assess participant eligibility, and ensure protocol compliance while safeguarding patient safety under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities of the Sub-Investigator include:

• Act as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials, providing support to rotating Principal Investigators.
• Deliver clinical oversight and direct patient care during study visits.
• Perform and monitor infusion-related procedures in accordance with study protocols.
• Ensure compliance with clinical trial protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with study coordinators and site staff to uphold study integrity and quality.

Qualifications for the Sub-Investigator include:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 2 years of experience (5 years preferred).
• Strong background in nursing; extensive prior nursing experience is highly valued.
• Proficient in infusion therapy with hands-on experience required.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and strong patient care skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rotating Principal Investigators; prior research experience is a plus but not required.

 Compensation for the Sub-Investigator:

• Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000 USD/year
