Network Engineer - DCSA

Piper Companies is seeking a Network Engineer to support a federal program located in Quantico, VA. This is an onsite role, with a preference for candidates able to work 4 days per week on-site. The Network Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and supporting Cisco-based routing and switching infrastructure, while driving technology adoption and best practices across the network.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer include:

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco routing and switching infrastructure.
• Support and optimize Catalyst Center environments, including Cat9K and Cat8K platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Assist with the adoption of new technologies and ensure alignment with mission objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:

• Must be eligible to hold a Secret Clearance.
• Strong background in Cisco route/switch engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Catalyst Center, Cat9K, and Cat8K platforms.
• Ability to drive technology adoption and provide strategic network recommendations.

Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:

• Salary: $140,000 – $165,000 annually
