Frontend Developer (Remote)

Piper Companies is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join a development team for a biotechnology organization. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for building user-friendly web interfaces. This role is 100% remote (must be willing to travel to HQ locations)

Responsibilities of the Frontend Developer:

·       Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

·       Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility

·       Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features

·       Implement responsive design principles to ensure cross-device compatibility

·       Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and platforms

·       Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Qualifications of the Frontend Developer:

·       5+ years of experience in front-end development/software engineering

·       Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript,

·       Must have experience working in Azure environments

·       Strong SQL experience (MySQL, Postgre SQL)

·       Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)

·       Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling

·       Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)

·       Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.

·       Basic understanding of back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java)

·       Bachelor’s degree

Compensation for the Frontend Developer:

·       Salary: Between $120,000 - $150,000 based on years of relevant experience
