Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer II for a world-leading technology organization in the Morrisville, NC area. The Technical Support Engineer II will have a strong background in Active Directory, Windows Server, and technical troubleshooting, with experience in SQL and cloud platforms being a major plus. The Techincal Support Engineer 11 will support the Tier 2 Technical Support Engineering (TSE) team and will be eligible to work int the US. This is Hybrid position (2 days onsite) in Morrisville, NC.


Responsibilities for the Technical Support Engineer II include:

· Provide Tier 2 technical support for internal teams and external clients

· Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including forests, domain structures, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

· Troubleshoot Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and system-level connectivity issues

· Diagnose and resolve complex permissioning and authentication problems

· Execute and troubleshoot SQL queries for data access and reporting

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate issues and document solutions

· Support cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) as needed

· Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles


Requirements for the Technical Support Engineer II include:

· 2+ years of experience in customer-facing technical troubleshooting roles

· Strong systems-level expertise in Microsoft Active Directory

· Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Outlook

· Proficiency in troubleshooting and permissioning workflows

· Hands-on experience with SQL queries

· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

· Must be eligible to work in the United States

· Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC on a hybrid schedule


Compensation for the Technical Support Engineer II:

· $80,000–$85,000 annually

· Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law
