Piper Companies is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Business Development to join an innovative pharmaceutical organization headquartered in East Windsor, NJ. This executive role will lead commercialization efforts, forge strategic partnerships, and accelerate market expansion across retail, e-commerce, healthcare, and institutional channels.


Responsibilities of VP, Business Development

  • Develop and execute plans to expand liquid OTC products across retail, e-commerce, and healthcare channels.
  • Identify trends and unmet needs in categories like pediatric, oral care, and specialty formulations.
  • Create customized offerings for private label, branded manufacturing, and B2B white-label segments.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships, negotiate deals, and ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Guide product selection and portfolio growth while ensuring FDA compliance and manufacturing scalability.


Qualifications of VP, Business Development

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Proven success launching or managing OTC or consumer health products across retail, e-commerce, and/or healthcare provider channels.
  • Deep knowledge of FDA OTC monograph regulations, labeling, and quality standards.
  • Existing relationships with retail or channel partners strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or account management within the OTC, consumer health, or pharmaceutical industries.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $200,000 – $230,000 annually
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
