Network Technician

Piper Companies is seeking a Network Technician to support critical projects and initiatives for a healthcare system. This role requires hands-on expertise in network infrastructure deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact projects across the health system.

Responsibilities of the Network Technician Include:

• Deliver network build-outs, upgrades, and refresh initiatives for data, voice, and video infrastructure.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network and hardware problems to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Develop and maintain project documentation while satisfying all compliance and audit requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and operate autonomously to achieve Go-Live milestones.

Qualifications for the Network Technician Include:

• 3 or more years of hands-on experience as a Network Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficient in configuring and supporting switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networking hardware.
• Experienced in deploying and maintaining LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Voice systems to meet organizational requirements.
• Practical expertise with SD-WAN technologies, including installation, configuration, and protocol management.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Compensation for the Network Technician Includes:

• Targeted Rate: $30 - $35/HR *depending on experience and qualifications*
