Cloud Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support enterprise DevSecOps initiatives and cloud infrastructure projects. The Cloud Engineer will play a key role in driving automation, implementing security best practices, and ensuring continuous improvement across cloud environments.

Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer Include:

• Collaborate with teams to enhance DevSecOps processes and tools for continuous improvement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for automation and tooling strategies, providing practical and actionable recommendations.
• Recommend and implement industry best practices for cloud and DevSecOps operations.
• Integrate security practices into automated pipelines and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

Qualifications for the Cloud Engineer Include:

•  5+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience managing Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, and Nexus.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation for the Cloud Engineer Includes:

• Targeted Base Salary: $150,000+ *depending on experience and qualifications*
