Senior Cloud Engineer- SECRET

Piper Companies is seeking a Cleared Senior Cloud Engineer to join a rapidly growing organization in a hybrid capacity based in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities for the Senior Cloud Engineer include:

• Collaborate with teams to continuously enhance Cloud and DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Ensure deliverables align with user acceptance criteria and expectations.
• Consistently meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• efforts, offering practical, relevant insights and recommendations.
• Integrate and enforce security protocols within automated pipelines.

Qualifications for the Senior Cloud Engineer include:

• Active DoD Security Clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, with a strong focus on secure automation and cloud-native practices
• 3+ years of hands-on expertise with Azure and other cloud platforms, including Kubernetes in Azure environments
• Proven track record in application and OS security, CI/CD pipeline development, and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, and Nexus
• Skilled in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket

Compensation for the Senior Cloud Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $140,000- $190,000 **depends on experience**
