Piper Companies is looking for a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a leading healthcare network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Biomedical Equipment Technician will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing biomedical and imaging equipment across the network.
Responsibilities of the Biomedical Equipment Technician Include:
· Complete preventative maintenance for assigned biomedical and imaging device equipment and achieve sustained high PM compliance.
· Manage database tasks such as maintaining accurate device control records and entering scheduled work orders.
· Identity needed equipment repairs, determine best actions while keeping costs low.
· Purchase parts, supplies, and other resources needed to service, maintain, and test equipment, while keeping costs low.
· Monitor work completed by outside service providers to ensure it meets standards.
Qualifications for the Biomedical Equipment Technician Include:
· 1 or more years of experience maintaining medical imaging equipment.
· Experience with electronic test equipment, preventive maintenance procedures, and QA protocols.
· Experience with order tracking systems and vendor-supplied service documentation.
· Associate’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical field.
Compensation for the Biomedical Equipment Technician Includes:
· Target Base Salary: $70,000-$105,000 *depending on experience*
