SEIT - Web Applications

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SEIT) to join a cutting-edge web application team. This Software Engineer in Test (SEIT) role is ideal for a quality-focused engineer with strong experience in automated testing frameworks, particularly Cypress, and proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Responsibilities of the SEIT include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable test code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback and deployment.

Qualifications for the SEIT include:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with creating automated testing frameworks.

Compensation for the SEIT includes:

• Salary range: $100,000 – $125,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO
• Hybrid work flexibility – 3 days a week onsite
