Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to join a leader in the financial industry. The Sr. Full Stack Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems built in Java while supporting the transition to newer technologies.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Full Stack Engineer include:

·      Maintain and enhance legacy Java applications critical to business operations

·      Collaborate with architecture and development teams to support modernization efforts

·      Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate legacy systems with modern platforms

·      Optimize SQL queries and database interactions for performance and reliability

Qualifications for the Sr. Full Stack Engineer include:

·      7+ years of professional experience in software engineering

·      Strong proficiency in Java, including legacy versions

·      Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks

·      Expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs

Compensation for the Sr. Full Stack Engineer includes:

·      $120,000 – $140,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law

·      Hybrid work environment – 2 days on-site
