Application Configuration Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Application Configuration Engineer who can manage and support application systems in a highly regulated environment. The application configuration will be Remote but must sit in RTP, NC.

Requirements for the Application Configuration Engineer include:

-       Manage and support application configuration through data management, reporting, and system modification

-       Develop and maintain systems components such a code tables, user-defined fields, and support data loads and migrations

-       Troubleshoot and revolve technical issues related to workflows, configurations, and data processing

-       Collaborate with business units to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language and support control and approvals

-       Document and track changes in order to manage processes and support improvements

Qualifications for the Application Configuration Engineer include:

-       Strong background in software configuration and database scripting; SQL, TSQL

-       Experienced in software development tools and languages; C#, XML

-       Comfortable working with Agile teams, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

-       Skilled in analyzing data and solving technical problems

-       Excellent communication and documentation skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently

Compensation for the Application Configuration Engineer includes:

-       Salary range: $89,000 - $105,000

-       Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match plus PTO, Sick leave as required by law, and Paid Holidays
