Backend Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join a growing team in computer systems. The Backend Software Engineer will play a key role in the cloud-based platform, developing, and optimizing software solutions for user needs.

Responsibilities of the Backend Software Engineer include:

·     Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python/Django.

·     Collaborate and communicate technical concepts within the team.

·     Ability to perform continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) application building practices.

Qualifications for Backend Software Engineering include:

·     3+ years of Backend Software Engineering Experience.

·     Strong experience in Python, Django, and REST API development.

·     Experience in PostgreSQL or similar relational database.

·     Preferred experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).

· Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar industry experience.

Compensation for the Backend Software Engineer includes:

·     $90,000-110,000 annually with a comprehensive benefit: Medical, Dental, Vison, 401k, PTO, holidays, sick leave as required by law.

·     Onsite Raleigh, NC
