IAM Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a IAM Engineer to support an industry leader in technology. This position will be hybrid in Raleigh, NC. The IAM Engineer will design, implement, and manage identity and access solutions across our enterprise systems.

Responsibilities of the IAM Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Manage identity lifecycle processes (provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews).
• Integrate IAM systems with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM, Okta).
• Monitor and audit access controls to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for the IAM Engineer include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IAM engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD).
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).

Compensation for the IAM Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $115,000-150,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
