Piper Companies is hiring an Engineering Manager for a mid size SaaS company located in Morrisville, NC. The Engineering Manager will supervise and provide technical direction to one or more implementation teams made up of software engineers and test engineers. The Engineering Manager will need to sit on site 3 days per week in Morrisville, NC.
Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager:
- Design, build, and release software features and bug fixes for the Relias platform.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Recommend strategies and solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Develop deep domain and technology expertise, including methodologies, standards, tools, and best practices.
- Act as Agile Delivery Lead, actively participating in backlog management, sprint planning, feature refinement, and agile ceremonies.
Requirements of the Engineering Manager:
- 3+ Years experience Managing Engineering Teams
- Technical Expertise:7+ years in software development.
- 2–5 years with .NET Core and C#.
- 1+ years with SQL Server.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Proficiency in:
- Object-Oriented languages (C#, Java).
- Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular).
- Relational databases (SQL Server or similar).
- Public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Compensation of the Engineering Manager:
- $140,000 - $160,000 base salary plus bonus
