Piper Companies is looking for a Network Engineer to join a a premier healthcare organization in Columbia, Maryland. This is a long term opportunity with a great hybrid schedule!
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:
- Work in conjunction with multiple project team members to refine project-specific requirements and meet project deliverables within the networking/UC space
- Assist with planning, design and implementation of large enterprise network (and at times unified communications) solutions to support the enterprise
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical design documentation for proposed and implemented solutions
- Routing/Switching administration (EIGRP and OSPF experience)
- Palo Alto NGFW administration/configuration
Qualifications for the Network Engineer:
- Bachelors degree is related field is preferred
- At least 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or CWNA preferred
- Advanced knowledge of IP routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF
- Experience with Cisco ACI, Meraki and ISE configuration and administration
- Experience with Cisco 4110 FMC NGFW, SilverPeak SD-WAN and Zscaler ZIA is preferred
Compensation/Benefits for the Network Engineer:
- $115,000 - $125,000
- Hybrid schedule (2x a week onsite)
