Piper Companies is seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance (Healthcare) to join an Healthcare Technology organization. The VP of QA will lead global teams on Software Quality automation and agility initiatives. This position will require some travel to Boston, MA.
Responsibilities of the VP of QA include:
- Lead QA strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with division goals and industry standards.
- Mentor and develop a global QA team, emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Proactively reduce quality incidents and lead in root cause analysis.
- Establish and enforce QA standards and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle.
- Implement metrics and KPIs to track QA performance and drive improvements.
- Oversee test planning and execution for software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Advance automation to enhance test coverage and QA efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, CMS).
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a client liaison for QA matters.
- Promote a DevOps culture with a focus on CI/CD and automation.
- Lead root cause analysis across the organization.
- Provide quality data analysis and interpretation.
- Contribute to and enhance Agile development practices.
- Drive process improvements and conduct regular audits.
Qualifications for the VP of QA include:
- 10+ years of software QA leadership experience.
- Experience working within a Healthcare B2B SaaS organization
- Proven ability to build and mentor QA and security testing teams.
- Extensive experience testing various software types (client-server, web, APIs, databases).
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux testing environments.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated responsibility, self-discipline, motivation, creativity, confidence, and quick learning ability.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
Compensation for the VP of QA include:
- Salary Range: $250,000 - $275,000
