Senior Software Engineer - .Net

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.Net) for a healthcare solutions provider working on a digital modernization effort focused on Azure services and microservices architecture. This role requires 3 days a week onsite in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities for the Senior Software Engineer (.Net):

• Architect and implement scalable N-Tier web and desktop applications using modern .NET technologies, ensuring alignment with digital modernization goals.
• Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and secure data flows to support interoperability and future-proof system design.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to maintain high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver innovative modernization features.

Qualifications for the Senior Software Engineer (.Net):

• 7+ years of .Net software development experience 
• Extensive hands on C# and .Net Core work
• Microservices architecture
• API focus preferred (REST, SOAP, Web API)
• Backend processing experience: SQL, Oracle, NoSQL, MongoDB
• Capable of providing mentorship to junior team members

Compensation/Benefits for the Senior Software Engineer (.Net):

• $60/hr - $65/hr (12+ month contract)
