Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Sales Representative to join a Global Clinical Research Organization. The Senior Sales Representative role is critical in building relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, understanding their clinical development needs, and positioning our services to support their success.
Responsibilities for the Senior Sales Representative:
- Identify and engage potential clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors for Phase 2–3 clinical trial services.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts ranging from $50 million to $100 million+ for Phase 2–3 trial services.
- Lead complex deal cycles, including proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations for multi-year engagements.
- Build strategic relationships with decision-makers at mid-to-large pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
Requirements for the Senior Sales Representative:
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of closing large-scale deals ($100M+ preferred).
- Strong understanding of clinical trial phases, particularly Phase 2–3.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Compensation for the Senior Sales Representative:
- $180,000 - $200,000 base salary plus un capped commission
