Piper Companies is seeking a HR & Office Manager to support a company focused on aerospace security systems located in McLean, VA. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a growing security organization focused on cutting-edge aerospace security.
Responsibilities for the HR & Office Manager include:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to benefits, performance reviews, and accurate record-keeping.
- Create fun and meaningful employee engagement programs to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Be the go-to person for HR policies, benefits, and compliance, ensuring everything runs smoothly and legally.
- Coordinate with the global HR team and provide valuable HR insights to leadership.
Qualifications for the HR & Office Manager include:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in HR, recruitment, office management, or people operations (startup experience is a big plus!).
- Solid knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and benefits administration.
- Proven ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day execution.
- Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful—ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for building strong workplace culture.
- Comfortable multitasking and adapting quickly in a dynamic setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation for the HR & Office Manager includes:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law
