Piper Companies is seeking a Dedicated Engineer for Network Operations to join a team in supporting federal customers in Norfolk, VA. This role focuses on telephony, VOIP/SIP systems, and SBC exposure. The candidate will sit onsite 5 days a week.
Responsibilities for the Dedicated Engineer:
- Configure and integrate telephony and VOIP systems, including SIP-based solutions.
- Conduct lab evaluations of new software and hardware for performance and reliability.
- Provide critical project assistance and technical leadership on deployments.
- Perform fault isolation, triage, replication, and resolution of complex issues.
- Support SIP layer troubleshooting and PBX feature provisioning.
Qualifications for the Dedicated Engineer:
- Active Secret Clearance required
- DoD 8570/8140 certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of telephony, VOIP, SIP protocols, and SBC exposure.
- Experience with CUCM provisioning and SIP troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PBX environments and feature configuration.
- Hands-on experience with application server products preferred.
Compensation
- $100,000-$118,000 annual
