CyberArk Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a CyberArk Systems Engineer, supporting the Hosting Services within the Office of Information Technology’s Division of Infrastructure Services (DIS) at Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Responsibilities of the CyberArk Systems Engineer include:

• Deploy and configure CyberArk components to implement secure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) solutions across critical systems.
• Integrate CyberArk with Active Directory and ServiceNow, enabling automated management of privileged accounts and streamlined ticketing workflows.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of CyberArk administrative tasks, including account provisioning, vault management, and policy enforcement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CyberArk issues, such as failed password changes, PSM connection errors, and HTML5 Gateway problems, ensuring system reliability.
• Manage and enforce PIM policies within CyberArk to maintain compliance with security standards and support robust IAM environments

Qualifications for the CyberArk Systems Engineer include:  

• Proven expertise with CyberArk components (PSM, PSMP, PVWA, CPM, SCIM, Vault) and experience in upgrades, migrations, and multi-domain Active Directory integration.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot CyberArk issues using logs from CyberArk, Splunk, and network/firewall systems; familiarity with firewall and network configurations related to CyberArk.
• 2+ years of experience in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks and hands-on experience with RHEL Linux (8.x/9.x) for managing PSMP servers.
• 5+ years of hands-on CyberArk experience, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, certificate management, VIP configuration for PVWA/PSM/PSMP servers, and experience working with ServiceNow tickets and technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

Compensation for the CyberArk Systems Engineer include:

• Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
