Application Solution Architect (SAP S4)

Piper Companies is hiring a Application Solution Architect (SAP S4) for a manufacturing company located in Greensboro, NC. The Application Solution Architect (SAP S4) will work with SAP/S4 template adoption, help design applications and work with the Salesforce and Workday integrations. The Application Solution Architect (SAP S4) needs to sit on site 1 week per month in Greensboro, NC and is a long term contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Application Solution Architect (SAP S4):

• Analyze the impact of global SAP S/4 template adoption on spoke applications, including:
  • Process and data model changes
  • Data conversion requirements (spokes & downstream)
  • Application and integration changes
• Collaborate with Business Partners, IT teams, and Enterprise Architecture to develop functional and technical specifications aligned with global strategy.
• Identify solution options and prepare Key Decision Documents to support strategic decisions within the SAP S/4 framework.
• Work closely with Data, Integration, and Development teams to ensure adoption of SAP S/4 standard data models and integration methods.

Requirements for the Application Solution Architect (SAP S4):

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in architecture within complex global environments.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4, including at least one full implementation cycle.
• Familiarity with financial systems and spoke applications such as Workday, Salesforce, and others.
• Experience integrating third-party applications not owned by SAP.

Compensation for the Application Solution Architect (SAP S4):

• $120,000 - $165,000
