Analytical Research Associate (FLOW)

Piper Companies is seeking a Analytical Research Associate to join a team in at a growing and innovative oncology cell therapy company in Branchburg, NJ. The foundation of this role is flow cytometry and ELISA-based work.

Responsibilities: 

·      Complete analytical testing and experimentation, with a focus on cell-based, PCR, flow cytometry, and ELISA assays--experience with Vi-Cell Blu a plus

·      Maintain, calibrate, and operate analytical equipment, along with laboratory material and reagent inventory

·      Document testing in accordance with laboratory requirements

·      Assist in laboratory and product failure investigations

·      Author technical and scientific documents including protocols, reports, and SOPs

·      Support technical transfer of methods to manufacturing for internal and external QC testing

Qualifications:

·      5+ years of experience working in a discovery role

·      Experience in cell-based, flow cytometry, and ELISA assays

·      Cell culture experience

·      Exposure to cell therapy products is preferred

·      Bachelor of Science in related field (Biology, Biotech, Biological Sciences) or Masters with 3+ years of experience

Compensation for the QC Analytical Associate Scientist 

·         Pay commensurate with experience: $47-53/HR
