IT Systems Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join a financial services organization. This role is on-site in Wayne, PA (4 days per week, 1 day remote).

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for data, application, and automation projects.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and support all phases of the SDLC.
• Partner with business teams to understand processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend automation or redesign solutions.
• Develop and support workflow and automation capabilities using low-code and RPA tools.
• Create project documentation such as scoping materials, use cases, and mapping specifications.
• Provide clear, timely status updates and coordinate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
• Produce concise reports, data summaries, and other materials to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst with strong requirements-gathering skills.
• Hands-on experience with automation and AI/low-code tools, Power Automate a must-have
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience supporting data or data-warehouse initiatives.
• Ability to manage or co-manage projects in addition to performing analyst responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with both business and technical perspective.
• Preferred: Python experience, Tableau/reporting skills, product owner background, and asset-management/mutual-funds domain knowledge.

Compensation:

• Annual Salary: $100,000 - $135,000
