Integration Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an Integration Engineer to join a leading healthcare technology organization dedicated to improving interoperability and secure data exchange across the healthcare ecosystem. This is a remote position and will play a critical role in building and maintaining integrations that enable seamless data sharing between customers and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead onboarding of new data feeds and connections for healthcare data exchange

• Maintain operational status of production data feeds and systems

• Monitor data flow across systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful integrations and inter-system operability

• Troubleshoot errors or issues with production feeds and assist dependent system owners

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferred

• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare technology

• 1–4 years of experience with healthcare integrations (required)

• Familiarity with HL7 messages and ability to create/understand technical documentation

• Knowledge of data encryption principles, including VPN and TLS connections

• Strong communication and organizational skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to manage the Software Development Lifecycle and solve complex issues

COMPENSATION:

• Pay Rate: $43/hr. - $52/hr.
