Piper Companies is looking for a Data Analyst to join a leading advertising agency in a fully remote role to support a data warehouse modernization project leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake on a 6–9 month contract working EST hours.
Responsibilities for the Data Analyst:
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and implement data models and pipelines in GCP and Snowflake.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency across the data warehouse.
- Develop SQL queries, dashboards, and reports to support business insights and campaign performance metrics.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions for marketing and advertising initiatives.
Qualifications for the Data Analyst:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and large-scale data sets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) for reporting and insights.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
Compensation/Benefits for the Data Analyst:
- Salary/Rate Range: $45-$55 / hour (based on experience).
