Piper Companies is seeking a VP Kotlin Full Stack Developer to join a leading global financial institution. The VP Kotlin Full Stack Developer will work on the Good to Sign (GTS) team within Client 360 technology, building services that streamline KYC compliance and integrate into the sales process. This position is hybrid in New York, NY. Must be eligible to work in the United States.


Responsibilities of the VP Kotlin Full Stack Developer include:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, well-tested software with a focus on scalability and simplicity
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define, design, and deliver key product features
  • Work across the full stack with emphasis on server-side development using Kotlin
  • Enhance and oversee CI/CD pipelines and support production environments (DevOps)
  • Apply Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, and other XP practices
  • Collaborate with platform and engineering leads to align with strategic technology initiatives
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory and operational standards

Qualifications for the VP Kotlin Full Stack Developer include:

  • Strong experience in Kotlin development or Java/Scala with willingness to cross-train
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development practices, including TDD and Pair Programming
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented or Functional Programming principles
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work hybrid in New York, NY

Compensation for the VP Kotlin Full Stack Developer includes:

  • Salary range: $145,000–$190,000 annually
