Piper Companies is seeking a Marketing Project Manager for a remote contract opportunity supporting a leading digital healthcare media organization. In this role, you’ll leverage your marketing operations and financial project management expertise to support the delivery of high‑impact omnichannel campaigns across email, display, onsite, and endemic media environments. This position operates Monday–Friday on EST hours, and candidates located in EST or CST are preferred.


Responsibilities of the Marketing Project Manager:

  • Lead and manage end‑to‑end delivery of integrated omnichannel marketing campaigns (email, display, onsite modules, video, social, sponsored placements, alerts, banners).
  • Oversee full campaign execution, including setup, QA, launch, pacing, optimization, and close‑out, ensuring 100% delivery accuracy.
  • Manage project timelines, daily deployment activities, and cross‑functional alignment with Editorial, Product, Engineering, Ad Ops, and Sales.
  • Conduct ongoing campaign performance monitoring—tracking pacing, KPIs, and delivery risks, and surfacing mitigation strategies when needed.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned clients and agencies, ensuring a seamless experience pre‑, during, and post‑campaign.
  • Support financial and operational processes including forecasting, invoicing, contracting, Veeva submissions, billing reconciliation, and validation against IOs.
  • Capture proof‑of‑placement materials, maintain campaign documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance across MLR, approvals, and archiving.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics and Marketing to generate pacing and performance reports.
  • Support RFP processes including TL matching, estimates, and quotes.


Qualifications of the Marketing Project Manager:

  • 3–5 years of experience in omnichannel campaign delivery, digital media operations, or pharma advertising.
  • Strong financial management skills, including forecasting, invoicing, and translating contract terms into deployment requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with email, display, and onsite media execution, including QA, pacing, and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with endemic publishers, CRM/CDP activation models, or engagement‑quality measurement.
  • Strongly Preferred Tools: Veeva, Placements.io, JIRA, Salesforce.


Compensation for the Marketing Project Manager:

  • Rate: $45-$55/hr
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and applicable paid sick leave
  • Contract: 3 months with potential extension or conversion to full‑time
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
