We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with at least 3 years of industry experience, ideally within biotech or pharmaceutical operations. This position is located onsite in Greenville, NC with a stable, growing pharmaceutical company that is continuing to expand at this location due to its advanced medicine, cutting‑edge technology, and long‑term investment in site development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
- Support process areas by providing technical expertise, periodic reviews, validation support, and reporting.
- Apply process knowledge to drive continuous improvement, optimize productivity, and reduce operational costs.
- Lead or support deviation assessments, root‑cause investigations, process validation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze process and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert during audits and inspections for assigned process areas.
- Collaborate with internal departments and partner sites to share best practices and align on process strategies.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies while ensuring changes comply with regulatory and quality procedures.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications of the Process Engineer:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or related process operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred).
Compensation of the Process Engineer:
- Salary: $80,000–$90,000
- Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and sick leave as required by law
