Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a leading organization in the financial services industry. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications in a hybrid work environment. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and full-stack development.

Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Engineer:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, and SQL.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure proper documentation using Swagger.

• Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular and React frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services and infrastructure automation tools.

• Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform for deployment automation.

• Conduct code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application functionality.

Qualifications of the Senior Full Stack Engineer:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack development.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular and React).

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Compensation for the Senior Full Stack Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $120,000 – $135,000 depending on experience

• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO

• Hybrid work schedule with locations in Smithfield, RI or Merrimack, NH
