Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#)

Piper Companies is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#) for a midsize e-learning healthcare platform located in Morrisville, NC. The Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#) will work to oversee the development and maintenance of web applications while working with architects and engineers. The Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#) is a fulltime opportunity and requires you to sit onsite 3 days a week in Morrisville, NC.

Responsibilities for the Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#) include:

-      Oversee and maintain efficient backend services and responsive front-end components to support core application functionality

-      Identify system bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance speed, scalability, and overall efficiency

-      Investigate and resolve software bugs to ensure a stable and reliable user experience

-      Support the development of unit tests and automated testing frameworks to maintain high code quality

-      Create and update documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and continuity

Qualifications for the Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#) include:

-      Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

-      5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development

-      Proficient in frontend and back-end technologies (.NET/C#, Angular, React)

-      Strong understanding of Azure cloud environments and data factory

-      Solid experience working with SQL and relational databases

-      A deep understanding of database design and data modeling principles

-      Experience creating and managing APIs and microservices

Compensation for the Manager of Software Engineering (.NET/C#) includes:

-      Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000
