Strata & NGFW Security Consultant (Atlanta, GA)

Piper Companies is seeking a Strata & NGFW Security Consultant to support a large enterprise organization with ongoing security initiatives. The Security Consultant will be responsible for firewall engineering, code-based configuration, and high-level consulting. This role is on‑site 5 days/week in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities of the Security Consultant include:

• Engineer and optimize Strata and Next‑Generation Firewall solutions.
• Provide high-touch consulting and client-facing guidance.
• Write, test, validate, and deploy code for security infrastructure.
• Apply enterprise security operations best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support architecture initiatives.
• Deliver both technical depth and polished client communication.

Qualifications for the Security Consultant include:

• Expert-level experience with Strata and NGFW.
• Strong consulting and soft skills.
• Understanding of enterprise security operations and best practices.
• Ability to write and validate code supporting security systems.
• Prior enterprise-scale engineering experience.

Compensation for the Security Consultant includes:

• Salary: $140,000 - 1$60,000
