Sr. GoLang Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. GoLang Software Engineer for a world leading technology organization located in the Raleigh, NC area. The Sr. GoLang Software Engineer is a hybrid position. The Sr. GoLang Software Engineer will design and develop secure, scalable applications in a cloud-based environment. The Sr. GoLang Software Engineer role is ideal for an experienced developer with strong hands-on coding skills and expertise in GoLang and AWS.

Responsibilities of the Sr. GoLang Software Engineer:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using GoLang in a cloud-based environment.

• Implement and optimize solutions leveraging AWS services for scalability and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and high-performing applications.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers when needed.

• Work on projects involving PKI and hardware security modules to ensure robust security measures.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and support containerization strategies (Docker/Kubernetes) for efficient deployments.

Qualifications of the Sr. GoLang Software Engineer:

• Strong hands-on development experience with GoLang and AWS.

• Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable applications.

• Any technical or people leadership experience is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with PKI or hardware security modules is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation tools is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation for the Sr. GoLang Software Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $125,000 - $170,000
