Junior Planner

Piper Companies is seeking a Junior Planner to join a medical device company located in  Audubon, PA  through an onsite, permanent position. The Junior Planner will focus primarily on supporting and informing the Sales and Product development teams by combining all supply and demand streams into one cohesive agenda.

Responsibilities of the Junior Planner include:

• Form supply chains for each provider
• Create commit files for internal and external manufacturers to fulfill inventory obligations
• Prepare supply plans every month with the purchasing team and their suppliers  
• Track vendor’s KPIs in the supply plans
• Create long-term plans for vendors by assessing existing capacity and impending needs
• Work with Project Managers and lead monthly demand reviews
• Evaluate all projects, sales, and projections to guarantee correct demand is shown, both nationally and internationally
• Develop manageable demand plans with the present and upcoming business needs as well as supplier means
• Work with the New Product Introduction team
• Modify future-based input from product managers for the upcoming needs of the company
• Generate demand plans for each owned project
• Incorporate New Product Introductions, New Territories, and Market Introductions into plans
• Monitor variance to organize and connect to applicable teams 

 Qualifications for the Junior Planner include:

•  Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field is desired
• Minimum two years’ experience in supply / demand planning or similar area
• Proficient knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and other analytic reporting systems
• Advanced quantitative and qualitative analytic expertise with the competency to communicate educated conclusions from reports
• Strong collaborator and team player with reliable personal communication skills

Compensation for the Junior Planner includes:

• Salary: $65K–$68K
• Direct Placement Hire
• Required onsite availability in Wayne, PA
• Available Health Benefits, 401(K) and PTO
