Piper Companies is seeking an Interface Support Analyst to join a Healthcare company located in Columbia, MD through a remote contract-to-hire position. The Interface Support Analyst will focus primarily on supporting needs from customers and work to solve issues effectively.
Responsibilities of the Interface Support Analyst include:
- Sustain status of production data feeds and operations
- Handle questions on present data feeds by troubleshooting, and solving problems
- Create detailed explanations of issues requiring code modifications and help to resolve concerns
- Solve issues in a timely manner and improve technical insight by initiating research and adding to information base
- Supervise data feed alerting, automate process, and consistently create a customer technical contact list
- Support QA with assessing test interfaces and confirming proper value of downstream systems
Qualifications for the Interface Support Analyst include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or information systems
- 1 – 3 years of healthcare IT experience is desired
- Understanding of JavaScript, XML, Mirth Connect, HL7 Interfaces, and FHIR resources
- Knowledge regarding Healthcare Integrations through experience or education
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Strong customer service and organizational skills with both a technical and non-technical audience
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare standards, including HL7 V2 messages, HL7 CCDA, HL7 FHIR, and IHE ITI transactions
- Flexibility and adaptability working with different stakeholders and professionals from diverse backgrounds (clinical, business, technical)
- Knowledge of network connectivity and security principles (VPN, whitelisting, certificates, etc.) preferred
Compensation for the Interface Support Analyst includes:
- Pay Rate: $30 – $40/hour, Contract-to-Hire
- 100% Remote Position
