Business Systems Analyst - ServiceNow

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Business System Analyst to join an industry leading security organization supporting and enhancing the organization’s ServiceNow platform, as well as homegrown inventory, audit, and compliance systems. The Technical Business System Analyst will work closely with internal customers, gather and refine requirements, design effective solutions, and support full lifecycle delivery in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities for the Technical Business System Analyst include:

• Manage backlog, requirements gathering, design, testing, and support for implementations, enhancements, and upgrades within the ServiceNow platform
• Work within and contribute to a mature operational model and help enhance internal processes
• Collaborate with vendor technical support, internal systems teams, and project development staff to support integration of COTs/SaaS platforms
• Manage ServiceNow/UCMDB/Flexera Discovery infrastructure including schedules, credentials, MID servers, and patterns
• Design, test, and support RESTful APIs, Linux/scripting environments, integrations, databases, and server‑side development

Qualifications for the Technical Business System Analyst include:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience across multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, Incident/Problem/Change, Asset Management, CMDB, Release, GRC, Vendor Risk)
• Experience with RESTful web services, Linux, scripting, and technical audit platforms
• Experience with SAM/ITAM for both on‑prem and SaaS platforms (USU, Snow License Manager, HP Asset Manager, etc.)
• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s in computer science (or equivalent work experience), or 6+ years with a master’s degree

Compensation for the Technical Business System Analyst includes:

• Compensation: $145,000 - $165,000 depending on experience
