AI Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for an AI Engineer to support a global leader in medical technology. The AI Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing core components of an enterprise AI platform used to enhance software development workflows. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities of the AI Engineer include:

· Developing and deploying production-grade agentic AI solutions

· Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for AI model delivery and updates

· Managing AI workloads in Azure, leveraging cognitive services and cloud-native tools

· Improving software development efficiency while maintaining regulatory and compliance standards

Qualifications for the AI Engineer include:

· 5+ years of engineering experience with hands-on deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs)

· Strong background in API design and integration using REST or GraphQL

· Advanced experience working with SQL and NoSQL database technologies

· Deep expertise in machine learning and agentic AI systems

· Remote role; U.S. citizenship required

Compensation for the AI Engineer includes:

· $150,000 – $180,000 annual salary range
