Maintenance Foreman / Lead Man

Piper Companies is seeking a Maintenance Foreman / Lead Man to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Lynwood, California for an ONSITE position. The Maintenance Foreman / Lead Man will lead a diverse team of maintenance technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations in a cGMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Foreman / Lead Man:

• Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to maintenance technicians and contractors
• Assign and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company values
• Foster an inclusive work environment and mentor team members
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and site safety standards
• Oversee troubleshooting and upkeep of equipment, utilities, and facility systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, water systems)
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS and support audits and inspections
• Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships
• Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Qualifications for the Maintenance Foreman / Lead Man:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device preferred)
• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems
• Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, and OSHA requirements
• Proficiency with CMMS systems and documentation
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation for Maintenance Foreman / Lead Man:

• $40-$45/hr
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick Leave if required by law
• Onsite in Lynwood, California
