Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician (Vendor Specialist in Washington, DC to work for an innovative and growing manufacturing company.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician include:

·      Independently establish, administer, and manage the service and maintenance program of internal environmental controls (HVAC), all facilities infrastructure and equipment including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, life safety systems, IT systems and Security systems

·      Oversee communication with outside vendors related to assisting in the coordination of construction/renovation projects to ensure the project scope is carried out on time and according to budget

·      Oversee communication with outside vendors assisting in the coordination of general questions from the GC or contractors to include electrician, plumber, HVAC etc. which will minimize the need to reach out to the Executive Administrator

Qualifications for the Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician include:

·      Associates Degree + 9 years of facilities maintenance experience

·      Bachelors Degree +5 years of facilities maintenance

·      Hands on HVAC and electrical maintenance experience

·      Hands on experience working vendor management

·      Ability to troubleshoot equipment

Compensation for the Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician includes:

·      Compensation range is $95,000 – $105,000

·      Comprehensive benefits package
