Commercial Case Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Commercial Case Manager to support care coordination efforts for an established organization within the health insurance industry. The Commercial Case Manager role is ideal for an experienced RN with strong telephonic case management skills and a broad background handling diverse clinical situations.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Case Manager:

• Provide telephonic case management for members across a wide range of clinical scenarios

• Assess, plan, coordinate, and monitor comprehensive care plans

• Collaborate with internal clinical teams and external providers to support optimal member outcomes

• Identify barriers to care and implement appropriate interventions

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with regulatory and organizational standards

• Utilize clinical judgment and evidence‑based guidelines in all decision‑making

Qualifications of the Commercial Case Manager:

• RN with 3+ years of clinical and/or case management experience

• Prior telephonic case management experience required

• Experience working with diverse case types across multiple clinical areas

• Must have and maintain an active RN license for NC or a compact multi‑state license

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills

• Familiarity with health insurance processes is preferred

Compensation for the Commercial Case Manager includes:

• Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000
